Confetti Theatricals offers several exciting teacher trainings to inspire your staff to create their own drama enrichment experiences at your school, child care centers or summer camps. These trainings are hands-on and fun for the participants, as well as budget friendly for the administrators. Best of all, your children will be "wowed" by the great, creative drama ideas that their teachers can bring to them. All workshops can be designed to be age appropriate for grades K-8. 1. Drama Enrichment: This session provides an overview of many types of drama enrichment techniques, explores developmental and educational relevance, and gives teachers a chance to try some of the techniques.

 

2. Make and Take: This session provides a look into some of the simple techniques from the drama enrichment workshop above, and gives teachers a chance to create some simple costume pieces that can enhance the experience of drama in the classroom.

 

3. Theatre Games: Exploring the techniques of Viola Spolin from her book, "Theatre Games for the Classroom" as well as some tried and true improvisation games and beginning acting methods developed by Marilyn Rupar-Dubner, this session has wonderful ideas for teachers to take charades to a whole new level.

 

4.Creating Child Centered Performance Pieces for Family Events: Want to increase family involvement at your center? Give children a chance to perform! This session will focus on how to create plays and other performance pieces with children and how to make childrens' ideas performance worthy. Teachers will come away with many techniques on how to make plays on a budget and make your next family event an unforgettable one!
