"Our turning 6-year-old son engaged Marilyn himself for his birthday party. Her drama class at his afterschool program is one of his favorite parts of the whole school week. Marilyn planned drama activities with our son & us for the party. At the party, other parents were asking for her contact information because it was apparent how much everyone enjoyed the activity. We wish we would have had the idea to engage her for previous birthday parties! The drama activities engaged all of the kids of various ages (siblings) attending the party. Once the children had rehearsed their production, they performed.The performance was entertainment for the adults & a great photo / video opportunity. We can't praise Marilyn's drama ideas and execution more highly."

My kids absolutely adore her drama club time at their afterschool program and literally won’t miss a day that has drama going on, even if I can pick them up from school that day. We booked her for our 7 year old’s birthday party which of course was a smashing success for my daughter and all her friends. Marilyn prepares them and then has them act out one or more plays. What an incredible sense of accomplishment the kids get, all the while having fun and quite literally playing games. She even brings a curtain and costumes. "We hired Marilyn for my daughters 6th Birthday party as my daughter has taken Marilyn's Drama classes through the Child Education Center (CEC) extended care program where she has quite a following with the children. There were 12 girls, most of whom had never had a class with Marilyn. Regardless, it was within minutes that their attention was captivated and their imaginations in full gear! It was a huge hit and all of the girls had a wonderful time. The Birthday Girl chose from a list of books and stories that Marilyn provided, and that gave my daughter the sense that she was a big part of the "magic" that would take place on her Birthday. She chose 1 story and 1 song, the Monster Mash. Marilyn arrived with full stage red velour curtains and costumes to boot. It was a dream come true! Marilyn has an amazing connection with children. She is thought provoking, engaging and a gentle spirit with the children. If you are looking to give your child an experience that will set their imaginations into action, this is the gig for you!"
